The form of some of his key men have fizzled out after a strong start to the season that saw them considered as key title contenders.

But the good news is that Romelu Lukaku looks to have found his scoring boots agains and helped himself to a brace which will raise moods and confidence going into the FA Cup final.

He will have to continue scoring though, if the Blues are to see out a very challenging season successfully.

So with the Leeds game a must win and the Liverpool FA Cup an absolute season defining, here is how they are doing on the treatment table.

N’Golo Kante

Kane has missed the last two games but is said to be close to returning after not making the cut for the Wolves game.

The French midfielder is known for deciding big games and the fact that he is close to returning will be great news for the Chelsea fan base.

He was on the bench for the Wolves game and back issues continue to hamper his consistency, with a reported deal in place to move to Barcelona, it will be interesting to see how his time in London comes to an end.

Another player where a decision has to be made on if he needs game time to be ready for the weekend or keep him safe and throw him in for the big day. Big call to make.

Expected return: Leeds away on Wednesday night

Jorginho

Not the season the Italian would have liked and his drop in form has led to talks of moving away in the summer.

Not many saw that coming when he played a key role as Italy beat England to lift the Euros and his sterling role during the Champions League campaign last season.
