Chelsea winger Harvey Vale is reportedly attracting interest from Championship pair Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town. The youngster is currently on loan at Hull City but is due to head back to his parent club this month.

According to reporter Nizaar Kinsella on Twitter, Wigan and Huddersfield have both ‘enquired’ about taking him for the rest of this season. However, due to the fact he has represented the Blues’ U21s already this term, he isn’t allowed to play for another club until the next campaign.

Chelsea let the attacker join Hull on loan in the last transfer window for him to get some experience under his belt but his move to the MKM Stadium hasn’t gone to plan. He has struggled for first-team minutes with the Tigers and has played just three times for the East Yorkshire outfit, with two of those appearances coming in the league.

The England youth international has been on the books at Stamford Bridge for his whole career to date and has risen up through the academy of the London club. He has been a regular at various youth levels over recent years and has appeared on five occasions for the senior team to date.

It is a shame that he hasn’t managed to impress at Hull in his first loan move away and a change of scene to either Wigan or Huddersfield could have helped his progress. However, he will have to wait until the summer to complete a new move away from Chelsea now.
