Meanwhile, Crystal Palace do not have such concerns at this point in time. They’re only missing two first teamers through injury, with a third set to make his return after being suspended.

Chelsea injury news

As mentioned, Chelsea will be without eleven senior players for their game against Crystal Palace. Among the new absentees are Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic, Denis Zakaria and the suspended Joao Felix. Zakaria is Chelsea’s newest injury concern, as he limped off in the second half of Chelsea’s last game against Fulham.

Felix will miss the Crystal Palace game after receiving a straight red card for a shocking challenge on Kenny Tete. Pulisic is out with a knee injury, while Sterling reportedly has a problem with his thigh.

The rest of Chelsea’s absentees are as follows: Ben Chilwell, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Armando Broja, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante. Of the players mentioned, Fofana could be the first to return - however, this will reportedly not happen until the end of January.
