Chelsea face Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend at Stamford Bridge. The hosts beat Burnley 4-1 at Turf Moor in their last outing before the international break.

The Gunners, on the other hand, won 1-0 at home to Manchester City to go joint-top of the table along with rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Gabriel Martinelli scored the only goal of the game at the Emirates Stadium.

In terms of injury news, Chelsea remain without summer signing Romeo Lavia. The former Southampton man is expected back in December as he awaits his debut for his new club.

Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, Christopher Nkunku and Wesley Fofana are all sidelined. The latter isn’t going to be back until next summer.

Striker Armando Broja has suffered a fresh injury setback. He has been forced to withdraw from international duty with Albania recently.

The Blues will assess Cole Palmer, Axel Disasi and Reece James ahead of their upcoming fixture. The trio are all likely to be in the squad which is a boost for Mauricio Pochettino as he looks to pick up a big victory in front of his own fans.

As for Arsenal, it remains to be seen whether Bukayo Saka will return on Saturday. The winger missed their last clash against City and wasn’t called up by England.

Mikel Arteta’s last words on him were: “He felt something and then you are tempted to risk him, but he was unable to train yesterday so that put him out of the game straight away. It’s a blow not to have him but we have lost players in recent weeks and have adapted to it. He is a really important player, there is no question about that, but the team has to use the resources that we have to make it, even without him.”

Leandro Trossard will need to be checked on ahead of their upcoming fixture. Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber is 100% out with a knee problem.

Doubts: Saka, Broja, Trossard

Out: Lavia, Badiashile, Chilwell, Nkunku, Fofana, Timber
