Chelsea receive fresh triple boost vs Arsenal with latest injury update and returning Reece James

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will be having some key players returning ahead of the game vs Arsenal.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is beginning to get players back from the international break with the likes of Armando Broja and Cole Palmer sent back earlier with injury scares.

There is however some really encouraging news with both Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo coming through their first games unscathed despite the long travels.

It has been a really tough start to the season for Chelsea on the pitch but there appears to be some progress with £58million signing Romeo Lavia making progress with his determined return to the field.

He has now made progress and returned to the swimming pool as he looks to make a return to the field somewhere in November.

Captain Reece James is also likely to play his first game for the club since the opening days of the season when he was injured and subsequently banned. His return will generate competition for the right-back spot Malo Gusto and Marc Cucurella all impressed when they stepped.

Another player who is likely to return is Benoit Badiashile who is back in training for the first in a month having missed the end of last season and the start of this one due to a troublesome hamstring issue.

His return also provides fresh competition for the centre defence with Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi the preferred names on Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Still outside and looking in are Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chilwell while Cole Palmer is expected to play a part against Arsenal despite returning from international duty earlier than planned.
