Kepa Arrizabalaga: Didn’t have much to do in the first half but then conceded in the second as has often been the case under Potter, must be frustrated-4

Reece James: Still not as his top-most best but again was very good defensively. Brilliant free kick early in the first half too. Really unlucky to be on the losing side today-5

Thiago Silva: Scored with his hand in the first half and was rightfully booked-but as always classy on and off the ball. Not much he could do about the goal-5

Kalidou Koulibaly: Defensively sound and had a brilliant shot cleared off the line by Emre Can-4

Ben Chilwell: Genuninely freightening when attacking and considering he’s been injured so much this season, this was a really good outing for the English left-back, replaced by Cucurella in the second half- 5

Ruben Loftus-Cheek: Used his physicality very well and was not afraid to get into tackles but lacked creativity-3

Enzo Fernandez: Used the ball well in the first half and as Chelsea chased the game he was literally a sweeper left for pace for the goal tough. Still settling into his new surroundings, brought a brilliant save from Gregor Kobel late on- 5

Hakim Ziyech: Had a really good second half and always looked like he had the beating of his man. Should’ve squared to Felix as Chelsea chased an equaliser- 5

Joao Felix: Missed about four chances on the night- 3

Mykhailo Mudryk: A quiet night for the Ukranian-3

Kai Havertz: Running in behind was very good but then again could not just finish-4

Cucurella: Replaced Chilwell in the second half-3

Mason Mount: Replaced Mudryk but was quite decent with his pressing- 4
