Chelsea are reportedly weighing up whether to loan out Gabriel Slonina, Omari Hutchinson and Cesare Casadei. The Blues could look to ship out the trio before the end of the January transfer window.

As detailed in a report by the Evening Standard, Championship exits would be ‘preferred’ to help boost their developments. Graham Potter’s side have been very busy this month which means their squad may need trimming a bit.

Chelsea have a host of promising young talents out on loan already such as Levi Colwill, Ian Maatsen, Dujon Sterling and Tino Anjorin. More could now follow before the market shuts next week.

Slonina, 18, is a highly-rated young goalkeeper who joined from Chicago Fire last year. He would benefit from getting a taste of some regular first-team football under his belt in England for the first time.

Hutchinson has been enjoying game time under Potter over recent times but has slipped down the pecking order now following Mykhailo Mudryk’s arrival. The teenager signed from Arsenal last July.

Casadei is another who could head out the exit door temporarily. The Italian midfielder rose up through the ranks at Inter Milan before switching to Stamford Bridge.

In other news, Chelsea are holding talks with Thiago Silva over a new deal, as per The Athletic. The stalwart defender has been a key player over recent seasons.
