Chelsea fans may have to stump up £3,900 for a season ticket next year - three times the current price

Certain Chelsea fans in high-end seats will have to stump up a whopping £3,900 for their season tickets next year - three times the current price.

Blues fans with season tickets in the upper tier of the West Stand at Stamford Bridge could face a significant price hike for the 2022/23 campaign..

Westview, a newly developed hospitality area, will be divided into four sections.

The current price for a season ticket in this part of the stadium is £1,250, and according to the Daily Mail supporters have received an email telling them of the price increase from this amount.

And the Tier one season ticket, on the half way line, will set fans back a whopping £3,900.

This will give fans access to all 19 Premier League home matches, all domestic cup matches, European group matches and the option to opt in to European knock out matches.

Tier two on the 18-yard line of each penalty area will cost £3,000, and have all of the same access as tier one.

Tier three, with fans sitting on the goal line, will be on sale for £1,500.

Blues fans will be able to attend all home matches apart from European group stage games with a tier three ticket, and a concessions ticket will also be available.

A fourth tier, which will be match by match, is set to be announced in the new year.

The club has told fans who currently sit in this area of Stamford Bridge that they have until 15 May 2022 to decide whether they wish to renew their existing seats, move within Westview, or move to other parts of the stadium.

Fans who are interested in moving their seats to Westview will be able to join a wait list on 10 January 2022.
