The Chelsea boss to everyone's surprise has almost a full squad with the return of Reece James who played his first minutes of 2024 at the City Ground. The England international will now hope that he can get some more minutes after being named on the bench for the game this evening.

It has taken a while but Chelsea look to be travelling the right way finally after winning three of their last four games. The Blues have lost only one of their last 13 games in what is now an impressive end to a challenging campaign.

Pochettino has been keen to highlight the need for patience but also admitted that this was Chelsea and they needed to instil a winning culture. The Chelsea boss said recently: “I don't want to say nothing because, from the beginning of the season, I said the objective always is to win because we are Chelsea.”
