Chelsea looking to build on their impressive 2-0 win over Fulham when they take on Burnley this afternoon.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted Reece James is fit and would have been involved in the game against Burnley but for his fine and suspension from the FA.

James has been out and looking on since the opening day game against Liverpool and his return is a massive boost as it provides manager Mauricio Pochettino with an option at right-back even though Marc Cucurella has impressed there in the last two games.

The Chelsea boss admitted in his press conference ahead of the game return to fitness of his captain with the club taking him out of the injury list.

Pochettino told the press: “I think he was training with the group and he is suspended for tomorrow. I think yes, we are really happy with his recovery and after his injury, he is doing well, hope after the international break he will be available. Sorry, he is available but after he is suspended, he could have the opportunity to be involved.”

The Chelsea boss has to also decide if he will bring back Nicolas Jackson who started the season as the lead striker but with Armando Broja back now, it's hard to tell if he will stick or twist.

But Pochettino said the decision had been made already. He added: “Yes, we took the decision and they know the information and you will fight out tomorrow.”
