Chelsea and Arsenal are said to have been given a price tag for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, with reports suggesting the Magpies won’t sell the Swedish attacker for less than £115 million.
Chelsea have been linked to signing Isak as TeamTalk are reporting that the Blues have made enquiries about signing Isak as Enzo Maresca looks to add a top-quality striker in the Blues’ pursuit of the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

Chelsea look to have have joined Arsenal in the race for Isak, with the Gunners having been linked to signing him since the summer as they look to add depth up front to take some heat off Germany international Kai Havertz.
Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on Isak who is yet to sign a new long-term contract at Newcastle despite his current deal lasting until June 2028. The report suggests that a £115m bid wouldn’t guarantee to be accepted, however, it could tempt the Newcastle hierarchy to let Isak leave.
Chelsea and Arsenal are both linked to strikers
Chelsea may be interested in Isak but that doesn’t mean he is their only target as the Blues also keep tabs on Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray.

Isak in demand
The Swedish attacker has been in demand virtually since he joindd Newcastle in August 2022 from La Liga side Real Sociedad for a fee of £58m.
Since then, Isak has established himself as one of the top strikers in the Premier League making 78 appearances and scoring 40 goals with eight assists. He is up there in demand with the likes of Aston Villa attacker Ollie Watkins, Gyokeres and Osimhen.
However, Newcastle’s hefty price tag could persuade the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea to turn their attention away from Isak and to one of their other transfer targets.
