Bryan Mbeumo has been great also with four goals and seven assists and even though he’s barely had the attention like Toney and Eriksen, he’s been as effective as all of them.

Clubs continue to be linked with most of the Brentford players but manager Thomas Frank says his bosses will have to help him keep them and build on from this season.

He said: “Hopefully with the money for staying in the Premier League, I think we will do what we’ve done before and try to improve the team a bit next year as well.

“I think every club in the world except eight clubs are selling clubs. I will not say that we are not, but if you ask me, I don’t want to sell anyone.”
