Brentford are being linked with a summer swoop for Fenerbahce wing-back Bright Osayi-Samuel. The former QPR man has been playing his football in Turkey since 2021.

The Bees are interested in luring the Nigeria international back to England at the end of this season, as per a report by 90min. Thomas Frank’s side are currently sat in 7th place in the Premier League and will be playing in Europe next term if they finish the campaign where they are.

Brentford could see Osayi-Samuel as someone who would give them more competition and depth in their squad. He has made 89 appearances for Fenerbahce since making the switch to the Turkish Super Lig and has chipped in with three goals.

He started his career at Blackpool and went on to score five goals in 79 games for the Tangerines as a youngster before QPR snapped him up back in 2017. The 25-year-old then spent three-and-a-half years with the Hoops and was a hit before he eventually moved on for a new challenge abroad.

Brentford are reportedly in the frame to land his signature. The Daily Mail claimed back in January that AFC Bournemouth were keen on getting him but they eventually pulled out of a deal.
