Arsenal are now just days away from kicking off the new Premier League season.

The Gunners get the new campaign underway against Crystal Palace on Friday, and there is plenty of excitement in the air.

Arsenal have invested significantly this summer to improve their squad, and there are big expectations heading into the new campaign.

Mikel Arteta and his men will be desperate to secure a top-four spot, and their squad could yet improve further.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Tielamans time issue

Brendan Rodgers says Youri Tielemans is keen for his future to be resolved soon.

Tielemans has one year remaining on his Leicester City contract, and Arsenal are said to be keen, but it seems they face a deadline.

“There is that possibility [Tielemans could leave] but there has not been anything for him, we haven’t had any approaches to the club yet on that,” Rodgers has said.

“Of course it is in the back of the mind, that sort of what-if scenario, but he doesn’t want anything to drag on either.”

Torreira sale

Arsenal are said to allow Lucas Torreira to leave the club.

The Uruguay international spent last season out on loan, and it seems he will now leave the club permanently, with regular football not at all likely.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are set to allow Torreira to join Turkish giants Lucas Torreira in a deal worth £8million.

Mari latest

Another player likely to leave this summer is Pablo Mari.

According to the Express, Serie A newcomers Monza are keen on a deal for the Spaniard.

It’s reported Monza have invited Mari’s agents to Italy for face-to-face negotiations.

Mari is said to have been told he can find a new club this summer.
