Arsenal have now lost their advantage in the top four race after back-to-back defeats.

Luiz bid likely

Arsenal are being tipped to make a move for Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz ahead of this summer.

According to Football Insider, the Gunners are ‘expected to bid’ for Luiz this summer, and a deal could well be on the table.

That’s because it is also claimed that Villa could be willing to sell Luiz as they look to make Philippe Coutinho’s move permanent.

Neves boost

The Gunners are said to be ahead of Manchester United in the race to land Ruben Neves this summer.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United are likely to prioritise a deal for Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips.

That could open the door for Arsenal to complete a move for Neves, though the Portuguese star is expected to cost big.

Nunez links continue

Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for Benfica star Darwin Nunez.

The Uruguayan frontman continues to impress in the Champions League, scoring against Liverpool and Ajax recently.
