In light of this, here are Arsenal’s latest transfer rumours.

Saliba to leave Arsenal?

Marseille have been given the green light to sign players again this window after being banned previously by FIFA.

One of their first priorities will be to secure William Saliba again after the young defender won Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season after the French club attained Champions League qualification.

Worryingly for Arsenal, Saliba spoke about his wishes to play in Europe’s top competition this season, raising doubts he would return to London.

The asking price for the 20-year-old is £25m which may be too expensive for Marseille to pay.

Arsenal look at Arthur again

Arsenal are set to make a fresh approach for the Juventus midfielder after failing to sign him in the January transfer window, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Juventus manager Max Allegri may have to offload some players this window to free up space in the squad for some new talent.

This has put the future of the Brazilian midfielder in doubt and may push Arsenal to make a second attempt to sign him.

If the right offer is made by the Gunners, Juventus will be likely to part ways with Arthur.

Zinchenko latest

Oleksandr Zinchenko has told Manchester City they will have to promise more game time to keep hold of the full-back this summer.

Arsenal have been touted to be interested in the Ukrainian, with Zinchenko the second choice left-back behind Joao Cancelo in Manchester.

Arteta may be persuaded to pursue the 25-year-old as he can offer him much-improved playing time with the Gunners next season.
