Attacker eyed

Arsenal are being linked with a summer swoop for Lille attacker Jonathan David. The 23-year-old has been playing his football in France since 2020 and has scored 53 goals in 127 games for his current club in all competitions to date.

According to a report by Italian news outlet CalcioMercato, the Gunners are interested in signing the Canada international in the next transfer window and Lille are ‘ready’ to sell him. However, Serie A giants AC Milan are also in the frame to land his signature.

Winger wanted

Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is reportedly on the radar of fellow English side Brighton and Hove Albion. The Daily Mail claim the Seagulls are ‘keen’ to lure the 23-year-old away from the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season as they look to bolster their attacking options under Roberto De Zerbi.

The Londoner has been with the Gunners for his whole career to date and rose up through the youth ranks. However, he isn’t guaranteed first-team football for Arteta’s side and has a decision to make on his long-term future. In addition, his contract expires at the end of June and he is due to become a free agent.
