Arsenal ‘interested’ in double transfer deal ahead of the summer with pair linked

Winger could emerge on radar

Arsenal could try and lure Raphinha back to England at the end of this season. The Brazil international left Leeds United last summer for Barcelona but has struggled to make an impact in La Liga this term. Journalist Pete O’Rourke has told GiveMeSport: “I think there’s a possibility they could revisit the situation with Raphinha; it seems Arsenal sporting director Edu is a huge admirer of his fellow Brazilian; a lot will depend on what’s going on at Barcelona this summer.

“If they need to sell players to raise funds, which it looks likely, Raphinha could be made available on the market and I’m sure that will pique Arsenal’s interest if they think they can land the former Leeds man on a cheap deal.”

Bundesliga man linked

Arsenal are being linked with a swoop for versatile Wolfsburg man Ridle Baku. The 24-year-old, who has four caps under his belt for Germany, can play at full-back or midfield which makes him a useful squad player in the Bundesliga.

He joined his current club in 2020 after rising up Mainz’s youth ranks and into their first-team. As per a report by CaughtOffside, the Gunners are ‘interesting’ in snapping him up.
