Arsenal have gone into the month or so long World Cup break on cloud nine.
The Gunners are sitting top of the Premier League and five points clear as things stand, with Mikel Arteta’s men putting together a stunning start to the season. Arsenal have failed to win only two of their games so far, losing just once. There are hopes of a title win, but the Gunners know they have plenty more work to do if they are to keep Manchester City at bay.

Memphis interest
Arsenal are said to be one of the clubs showing interest in signing Barcelona star Memphis Depay in the January transfer window.
The Gunners need more depth out wide, and Memphis could be an option they can land on the cheap, given Barca wouldn’t stand in the Dutchman’s way. The Blaugrana only signed Memphis in the summer before last, but they did so on a free transfer, meaning they are guaranteed profit.
According to SPORT, Arsenal and Chelsea are interested, while Manchester United are also being tipped to make a move to take Memphis back, now that they have a Dutch boss in Erik ten Hag.

Shakhtar Donetsk are expecting offers for star winger Mykhalo Mudryk in the January transfer window.
The Ukrainian club’s chief Carlo Nicolini has said, according to TuttoJuve: “Now it will be time to get back in contact with the club, the agent and Mychajlo to see if anyone will start a negotiation. He’s a great professional, he’ll leave these voices to his agents. We’ll see if anything happens or not”.
Arsenal are said to be one of a number of clubs interested in Mudryk, with the winger performing excellently in the Champions League and domestically this season.
