Arsenal have 'concrete' chance to sign 17-goal former target for £52 million this summer
Arsenal have a big summer transfer window ahead of them as they look to both bolster their ranks and offload some players to raise funds and make room on the wage bill.
Their battle with Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title is set to go right down to the wire, and regardless of whether they clinch the silverware or not, they will have a huge pull on the transfer market for top quality players.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of high profile names since last summer’s window closed but a familiar player has now appeared on the radar. According to Italian outlet Tuttosport (relayed via TEAMtalk), the Premier League title challengers are assessing cheaper options this window, in comparison to high profile target Viktor Gyokeres, who is reportedly worth €100 million (£86m).
The familiar name in question is former target Dušan Vlahović, who Arsenal tried to sign back in 2022 to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. However, the Serbia international opted for a move to Juventus instead, but the Italian side have been struggling in recent seasons and haven’t won the Serie A title since 2020.
Despite Vlahović’s efforts in front of goal this season — contributing 17 goals and three assists across all competitions — Juve are currently third in the table, a whopping 19 points adrift of league leaders Inter. If Vlahović opts for a move away to chase silverware, the report claims that Arsenal have a ‘concrete’ chance of signing him if they offer in the region of €60 million (£52m).
