Arsenal are back in action on Wednesday night as they turn their attention to the Carabao Cup.

The Gunners face Brighton at the Emirates Stadium as they look to build on their narrow win over Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend. Mikel Arteta’s men will then face Wolves in the Midlands in their final outing before the World Cup takes hold. Arsenal will want to tick that one off with a win to go into the break with top spot still in their grasp.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Tielemans boost

Arsenal are once again being linked with a move for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans as the Belgian continues to impress. Tielemans, who was signed for £35m, is out of contract next summer and he may have to be sold on the cheap in January, not likely to pen a new deal.

According to Fichajes, Arenal are interested in Tielemans having stayed away from a move in the summer, and they are ahead of Barcelona in the race to land the midfielder. Arteta is said to be prioritising a winger ahead of the winter window, but he also knows he could do with a central midfielder having failed to land one in August.

Danilo update

Arsenal are said to be stepping up their efforts to sign Palmeiras midfielder Danilo. The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to the Gunners over recent months, and it seems the London club are now closing in on a move.
