Arsenal enter race for Leicester City sensation as Nketiah eyed by Premier League rivals

A look at all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours as Mikel Arteta’s men prepare for their clash with Leeds United.

Arsenal are preparing for another big clash this weekend, when they face Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are still holding on to second place as things stand, sitting two points ahead of Tottenham.

And Mikel Arteta’s men wil be desperate to keep it that way ahead of their clash against their north London rivals next week.

Arsenal need to keep their nerve for just four more games, and if they can do so through games against Leeds and Tottenham, they will be well on their way.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer rumours ahead of the summer window:

Raphinha blow

Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for Leeds United star Raphinha, but it seems they would face stiff competition of they were to pursue a deal this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Barca are serious about signing the winger and will begin talks with Leeds.

It’s claimed Barca will offer the Yorkshire club two separate deals, depending on whether they stay in the Premier League or not.

Arsenal better get a move on if they do want to compete for this transfer.

Tielemans race

Another star Arsenal are said to be battling for is Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans is out of contract in 2023 and he may resist a new deal, putting the Foxes in a vulnerable position.

That could mean Tielemans becomes available this summer for the right price, with Leicester unlikely to allow him to move into the final year of his deal.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are battling with Real Madrid and Manchester United for the Belgian.

Nketiah latest

Premier League rivals Crystal Palace are said to be attempting to sign Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah ahead of this summer.

Nketiah, who has been in form of late, is out of contract this summer, and he may decide to seek a future away from the club in a bid to get more regular football.

The Sun say Palace are keen on the forward, but good form and more regular minutes between now and the end of the season could result in Arsenal keeping the youngster.
