Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs’ predicted final Premier League standing and best photos of season so far - gallery

Arsenal have taken 31 points from a possible 36 in the Premier League this season.

After a tough week that saw Arsenal claim only a point against Southampton before suffering defeat to PSV in the Europa League, the Gunners returned to winning ways in style as they beat Nottingham Forest 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur were handed a bit of luck as Rodrigo Bentancur’s 92nd minute goal awarded them all three points against Bournemouth - despite being 2-0 down early on in the second half. Chelsea were less fortunate as Graham Potter’s side were thrashed 4-1 by his former side Brighton.

Victory for Arsenal leaves them two points above Manchester City at the top of the table, while Spurs look to be hanging onto their third place spot. Antonio Conte’s side remain five points behind their north London rivals but could have slipped below Newcastle and Man Utd if they were beaten by the Cherries. Meanwhile, the Blues now sit sixth after their loss on the south coast.
