There are some high profile free agents still looking for clubs after leaving their previous employers at the end of last season.

The summer transfer window has closed for business after what has been a remarkable close-season for the London clubs.

From Arsenal’s successful attempt to make West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice to Chelsea’s expensive capture of Brighton and Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo, the capital’s clubs have rarely been out of the headlines as they looked to boost their squads to compete with the challenges of the Premier League.

There have been some big name departures too as Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane finally made a decision over his future by joining Bayern Munich and Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic accepted an offer to become another eye-catching signing for clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Some may well feel they still had work to do when the window ‘slammed shut’ at 11pm on Friday night and they will have to wait until after Christmas before opening the cheque books once again as they look to make permanent and loan signings ahead of the second half of the season - but there are some high profile free agents still looking for clubs after leaving their previous employers at the end of last season.
