They are the latest stations to offer mobile data connectivity as the next stage of Transport for London (TfL) and BAI Communications’ (BAI) mobile coverage rollout.

The project will provide the whole underground network, including the Elizabeth line, with 4G and 5G by the end of 2024.

4G and 5G will be in ticket halls, platforms and tunnels between connected stations.

Deputy mayor for transport, Seb Dance, said the development “marks a great step forward in the delivery of mobile connectivity on the Tube.

“Londoners will now have increased access to high-speed mobile coverage when travelling through more Tube stations.”

He added: “I have no doubt that this expansion of coverage will help transform journeys for millions of passengers.”

Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate and Queensway received 4G and 5G last week, while final testing for Camden Town, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road is underway to offer coverage in the new year.

Alongside 4G service on the Jubilee Line between Westminster and Canning Town, since April 2022, 10% of Tube stations now provide 4G and 5G-ready coverage.

500 people are working overnight across the Tube network to install mobile equipment and tidying works away before the network opens each morning.

Three UK, EE, Vodafone, and Virgin Media O2 are taking part in the rollout.

Customers on EE and Vodafone can already access coverage and customers on Three UK and VMO2 will gain access in the new year.
