Tube strikes 2022: All the London Underground lines affected by walk-outs and closures this weekend

With planned Tube strikes set to go ahead this weekend, amid reports TfL could have to budget for industrial action in the coming year, the coming days look to be tricky for travel.

TfL have a raft of planned closures and special services operating this weekend.

And LondonWorld have rounded up all the Tube and travel news you need to know.

Tube strikes

Tfl says there are planned strikes “every Friday and Saturday night” until Sunday, June 19.

Services from 8.30pm to 4.30am will be affected including the Central and Victoria lines.

Passengers are warned to check travel if using these lines before 6am on either day.

All other Tube lines will run their normal daytime services during these strikes, with the last Tubes in central London leaving around 1am and starting again at 5.30pm.

District line

On Saturday, January 15, and Sunday, January 16, there will be no service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway due to part closures.

Replacement buses will be in operation between Ealing Broadway, South Ealing, Northfields, Boston Manor and Osterley.

Overground

London Overground users face part closures and a reduced service this weekend.

On both days there will be no service between Highbury & Islington and West Croydon , Crystal Palace and Clapham Junction.

This includes the Night Tube Overground in the early hours and people are advised to use night buses instead.

Passengers are asked to use alternative London Overground services between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Kingsland except after 10.15pm on Sunday.

While on Sunday, January 16, from 10.15pm there will be no service between Camden Road and Stratford. Replacement buses operate and the 9.59pm train from Clapham Junction terminates at Willesden Junction.

On Saturday, a reduced timetable will run from Kilburn High Road to Euston from 6.30am to 7.30pm, while trains leaving Watford Junction at half past each hour will terminate at Kilburn High Road.

And between 7.15am and 8.15pm trains departing Euston at quarter past each hour will start from Kilburn High Road at 22 minutes past each hour.

On Sunday, between 11.30am and 8.30pm, a reduced timetable will run from Kilburn High Road to Euston, while trains departing Watford Junction at half past each hour will terminate at Kilburn High Road.

Between 12.15pm and 21.15pm, a reduced timetable will run from Euston to Kilburn High Road.

On Sunday, there will be no service between Camden Road and Stratford from 10.15pm.

Replacement buses operate and the 9.59pm train from Clapham Junction terminates at Willesden Junction.

On Sunday, until 2.30pm, there will be no service between South Tottenham and Barking.

Replacement buses operate between Walthamstow Central and Barking. Use Victoria line connections between Seven Sisters, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Central.

Northern line

The Northern line Bank branch closure begins on Saturday, and will run until mid-May.

There will be no service between Moorgate and Kennington due to major upgrade works, and the bus route 733 will run from Moorgate to Oval via Bank on Monday to Friday.

While also on Saturday, there will be no service between Euston (Bank Branch) or Charing Cross and Stockwell or Battersea Power Station.

Piccadilly line

On Saturday and Sunday, there is no service between Hammersmith and Heathrow (all terminals) and Uxbridge.

People are advised to use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Replacement buses operate.

TfL Rail

On Sunday, January 16, a reduced frequency of four trains an hour, operates until 1pm between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington.

Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell, and Paddington to Reading trains are retimed.

And from 10am to 11.30pm there is a reduced service of four trains per hour between Liverpool Street and Shenfield.

Waterloo & City

The service operates between 6.07am and 10.13am and between 3.23pm and 7.11pm on weekdays only.

There is no service on Saturdays and Sundays.
