Here is the full list of planned TfL service changes this weekend, April 19 to 21.

Londoners travelling into the capital this weekend could be faced with disruption due to closures on Tube and rail services.

Transport for London (TfL) has asked Londoners to check before they travel.

Here is the full list of planned TfL service changes this weekend, April 19 to 21.

Thameslink closure

On Saturday 20 and Sunday April 21, there will be no Thameslink service between Finsbury Park and St. Pancras International, or between St. Pancras International/London Bridge and Wimbledon/Sutton. Trains will not call at Kentish Town on Sunday April 21.

Customers should use Tube services or local bus routes to travel across central London. Ticket acceptance has been arranged.

Oyster card system maintenance

From 6pm on Friday 26 until 8am on Saturday April 27, TfL will be carrying out essential maintenance on the Oyster card systems. During this time, customers will not be able to access any online Oyster services and the Oyster call centre will be temporarily closed. 

Customers will still be able to use their Oyster cards for travel. If you need to top up your card, head to the nearest station or Oyster Ticket Stop.

London Underground

Central line

TfL has apologised for the continued disruption on the Central line. It says engineers are working round the clock to address the issues, efforts which have “helped deliver a more reliable service, while ensuring the safety of our customers and colleagues”.

TfL asks that people plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and consider alternative routes if travelling on the Central line into or through central London.

London Overground

Monday 22 until Thursday April 25

No westbound service from Camden Road to Willesden Junction after 11.45pm each night

Use alternative Tube and Overground services or local bus routes. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

Tuesday 23 until Thursday April 25

No southbound service from Willesden Junction to Shepherd's Bush until 6.15am each day

Use local bus routes 220 or 228. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

Elizabeth line

Sunday April 21

No service between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington until 6.30am

Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway services will not run during these times. Customers from central London for Heathrow should use the Piccadilly line. Customers from Southall for Heathrow should use local bus route 105. Customers from Hayes & Harlington should use local bus routes 278, 350, SL9 or N140.

Customers for West Ealing should use local bus routes E11 or 207, and for Hanwell use local bus routes 207, 427 or SL8. For Acton Main Line, use the Central line at North Acton. This is due to Network Rail track renewal work.

Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/Heathrow T4

Customers for Iver should use Reading trains, which will call at these stations. This is due to Network Rail track work.

Monday 22 until Wednesday April 24

Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/Heathrow after 10pm each night

Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing after 11pm. Customers for West Ealing should use local bus routes E11 or 207. Customers for Hanwell should use local bus routes 207, 427 or 607. For Acton Main Line, take the Central line to North Acton. This is due to Thames Valley maintenance works.

London trams

No service between East Croydon and New Addington/Beckenham Junction/Elmers End

Use local buses. Tram replacement buses will run between Wellesley Road and Beckenham Junction/New Addington. This is so essential work can be carried out on the tramway.

Friday April 19

O2 Arena, Greenwich

From 6pm until 11pm, a WWE Wrestling event will take place at the O2 Arena. Large crowds and high traffic levels are expected before and after the event.

Whitehall

Whitehall will be closed for a significant part of the day, due to a wreath laying event.

Central London

From 7.30am until 3.30pm, the TCS Mini London Marathon 2024 will take place, with the route contained on Horse Guards Road, Birdcage Walk, Spur Road and Constitution Hill. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected along the route.

From 10.20am until 2.30pm, a march will take place from Millbank to Temple Place via Abingdon Street, Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Avenue and Embankment. Large crowds are expected.

Westminster

From 10am until 2pm, a march will take place from the Chinese Embassy to Richmond Terrace. Large crowds are expected.

Trafalgar Square

From 12pm until 6pm, a religious event will take place on Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.

Twickenham Stadium

From 12pm until 7pm, Twickenham Stadium will be hosting the Women's Six Nations rugby match between England and Ireland, with kick off at 2.15pm. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the match.

Drumsheds, Tottenham Hale

From 12pm until 10.30pm, a concert will take place at Drumsheds. Large crowds are expected at the beginning and end of the event.

Wembley Stadium

From 3pm until 10pm, Wembley Stadium will be hosting the FA Cup Semi Final football match between Manchester City and Chelsea, with kick off at 5.15pm. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the match.

Saturday 20 and Sunday April 21

O2 Arena

From 6.30pm until 10.30pm, the O2 Arena will be hosting Peter Kay Live, with the performance starting at 8pm. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.

TCS London Marathon 2024

From 4am until 9pm, extensive road closures will be in place across central, south and east London for the London Marathon. The route will start in Blackheath and end on The Mall. 

Trafalgar Square

From 12pm until 6pm, a ceremonial event will take place at Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.

Wembley Stadium

From 1pm until 8pm, Wembley Stadium will be hosting the FA Cup Semi Final football match between Coventry City and Manchester United, with kick off at 3.30pm. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the match.

Until Thursday April 25

Billinton Hill is closed for redevelopment works.
