Learning Apprenticeship at London Transport Museum: £21,824

London Transport Museum (LTM), located in the heart of Covent Garden, tells the story of the capital city’s transport heritage.

The museum is currently seeking three apprentices, aged 18-25, to support the Young People’s Skills and Communities team, planning and delivering creative projects and events.

As part of the programme apprentices will be working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration as well as a Gold Arts Award and will be required to attend college one day a week.

London Underground Operations Signalling and Control Apprenticeship: £23,404

Service controllers are responsible for managing the train service safely and efficiently.

This apprenticeship includes four placements, where successful candidates will be trained firstly as a customer services assistant, then as a customer service supervisor, followed by a stint in the London Underground’s Signals Department and finally as train duty manager.

This is a two year apprenticeship followed by a 6-12 month Service Controller traineeship.

Centre Manager – TFL Visitor Centres: £32,800

TfL Visitor Centres are responsible for supporting international and domestic visitors with travel and fare advice and helping them to enjoy London, using the best transport option, answer and help any visitor questions.

TfL is looking for an “enthusiastic and motivated” Centre Manager with excellent communication skills to support and develop the team.

Transport Planning and Management (TPM) is looking for a business architect analyst to provide analysis and support activities in the team.

The successful candidate will provide timely and quality information to inform; investment planning that meets business needs, and delivery oversight of change initiatives to deliver business outcomes.

Bus Customer Development Manager: Salary: £50,000

TfL is looking for someone to lead the development and implementation of the Bus Customer Action Plan.

The advert says they are looking for someone “creative and strategic with a passion for customers to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.”

Safeguarding Manager- Suicide Prevention: Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

TfL is recruiting for an Operational Policy Manager, whose primary focus will be on Suicide Prevention for London Underground.

The post holder will develop a strategy that encompasses an operational response to a range of vulnerable people using or seeking refuge in the network.

These include those who are suicidal, homeless, impacted by mental health issues, children, young adults and those at risk of being involved in criminal activity due to their vulnerability.

TfL is recruiting a construction engineer to support operations, strategy, projects, and asset management.

Senior Cloud Engineer Salary: £60,000 – £66,000

Based in North Greenwich, TfL’s Cloud team is looking for a senior engineer who can “react quickly to an ever-changing landscape.”

As lead engineer of TfL’s public cloud standards, the successful candidate will write, advise and present these to TfL’s technology community as well as working closely with the project teams to deliver new cloud-based solutions.

The Data Science Manager leads the Data Science strategic function for TfL, on behalf of TfL’s Chief Data Officer

The postholder will define the strategy for TfL’s investment into data science/machine learning/artificial intelligence and provide people leadership for TfL’s Data Science Centre of Excellence.
