The Piccadilly line, which provides a service to the UK’s busiest airport, will be closed between Acton Town and all Heathrow terminals from Saturday February 10 to Wednesday February 14 due to planned works.

On those days, alternative services can be used, including the Heathrow Express and other National Rail services, the Elizabeth line and London buses.

The Piccadilly line usually serves Heathrow Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, running a frequent service between the airport and a number of locations in central London.

According to TfL’s planned works calendar, here are the expected service changes on the Piccadilly line:

  • On Saturday (February 10), from 4.45am approximately, and all day Sunday (February 11) to Wednesday (February 14), there will be no service between Acton Town and Heathrow (all terminals)
  • Replacement buses will operate instead
  • During the day, customers are urged to use Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express connections between Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 and Heathrow Terminals 4 & 5.

Other closures on the TfL network in February include the London tram which will be partially closed from Saturday February 10 and Friday February 23.

The Elizabeth line will be partially closed on four weekends throughout February due to planned engineering works. The London Overground will be partially shut for 10 days throughout the month.
