While there have been no physical changes to St Pancras (sadly, tickets don’t come with a side of lemon and sugar), the station name has been displayed as London St Pancake on departure boards across the city.

South Eastern Railway posted on X: “Spring is in the air which can only mean one thing… Anyone hungry? (Disclaimer: No eggs were broken, flour beaten or milk spilt in the creation of these images)”

The name change has caused a stir on social media with people sharing photos and videos of the destination boards across the major platforms.

MetJam posted: “London St Pancake. My favourite station.”
