Scarlette Douglas became the second contestant to be eliminated from the I’m A Celeb camp, after the public voted to save their favourite celebrity on Sunday night.
The Place In The Sun presenter, 35, from London, and comedian Babatunde Aleshe, 34, were announced as being in the bottom two by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelley. Scarlette burst into tears after the TV presenters then revealed that she would be leaving the camp and was forced to say goodbye to her fellow celebrities.

Hide Ad“I’m absolutely gutted, I’m not even going to lie about it. I know that some people wanted to leave and I was like ‘I’m not ready to go yet. I wanted to stay for as long as possible because those people are amazing and the jungle is incredible,” she told Ant and Dec.
Speaking of her time in camp Scarlette, whose real name is Charlotte Patricia Louise Douglas, said: “I was a bit of a screamer! When you don’t know what was in there but then I thought "This is the first trial, you just need to get a grip".
“There was a point when there was a spider in the RV and I was gone, I was screaming. But there was another one and I was helping Mike (Tindall) get it out!”
Whilst reflecting on her time in camp and speaking to Ant and Dec in her exit chat, the duo asked Scarlette who she will be rooting for to win to which she answered Babatunde due to their sibling-like bond.

Hide AdThe TV personality was the second to be eliminated after Journalist and Loose Women presenter Charlene White.
Viewers have taken to Twitter to share their shock and disbelief as many thought Scarlette was a favourite to be in the final.
One person wrote: “Gutted. Tonight was not Scarlette’s time to go. But she has shown what a constant source of positive energy she is. And I know there will be so many exciting times and opportunities ahead!”
