Harry Styles: former One Direction star stops Love On Tour concert to help fan propose to girlfriend


Harry Styles has been delighting fans during his Love On Tour and recently helped a man propose to his girlfriend during one show.
The former One Direction singer, 29, who lives in London, stopped halfway through his show in Brisbane, Australia, to hand the mic to a concert-goer to make their marriage proposal.

Hide AdStevan Filiposki had created a sign which caught the attention of the As it Was singer, who said: "This sign says, ‘Make my boyfriend propose’. How do you feel, Stevan?
"If I stick the mic out, do you promise not to steal it? Do you promise? I’m working up here!"
Harry added: “I will be third-wheeling this proposal."
Stevan received the mic from Harry and said: "I just want to say how good Harry Styles is.
"What a lovely, lovely man. But there’s someone I love more."

Hide AdTurning to his girlfriend Connie Morrison, he continued: "The love of my life... will you marry me?"


Connie accepted the proposal, and the couple began kissing as Harry Joked: "Alright! It’s a family show, it’s a family show," adding: "Or is it..?"
The Grammy-award-winning singer dedicated his song ‘Cinema’ to the couple following the proposal.
Footage from the concert has gone viral on TikTok, with fans of the singer saying it would be “a dream” to be proposed to in this way.

Hide AdNewly engaged couple Connie and Stevan appeared on Australia’s Sunrise to discuss the moment.
Stevan said: "He’s such an entertainer, and when he walked past me, he gave me a wink and a nod and said, ‘Are you serious? You want to go ahead?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ It was definitely in the moment."
Connie added: “It was a beautiful moment. I was always like [to Stevan], "Don’t propose to me in public," but now I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
Harry Styles has a packed schedule for 2023, and his Love On Tour will take over Europe in a few months with shows in Coventry, Edinburgh, Cardiff and London.
The singer has two shows lined up at the iconic Wembley Stadium and will be performing on Tuesday 13 June and Wednesday 14 June 2023.
