Adele: Hello singer ‘engaged’ to Rich Paul and preparing to wed ‘this summer’ as she wears diamond ring

Adele and her sports beau Rich Paul are reportedly engaged.

The Hello singer, 34, from London, and Rich, 41, from Ohio, first met while at a mutual friend’s party a few years ago. They went on to reveal their relationship to the public in July 2021 after dating rumours were sparked when they sat together courtside at a basketball game.

A “very reliable source”  has now claimed to online gossip site Deux Moi that the couple are preparing to tie the knot this summer.

This comes after Adele wore an eye-catching diamond ring on her wedding finger at her recent Las Vegas show.

Fans have been left to speculate over the possibility of Adele being engaged for over a year as she first stepped out with the jewel at last year’s BRIT Awards.

The Someone Like You singer and Rich haven’t confirmed their engagement but have put on a loved up display in joint public outings.

At the Grammy Awards earlier this month, she dedicated her Best Pop Solo Performance achievement to her son, before sharing that Rich had advised “not to cry” if she won.

As her sports agent boyfriend, Rich Paul looked on from the audience, Adele said: "Oh god Rich, he said ‘don’t cry, if you win anything tonight don’t cry!’ and here I am crying."

The singer, who shares ten-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki, was quizzed about being engaged to Rich in an interview with Elle UK in August last year.

“I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married,” Adele said.

She denied being engaged and claimed to “just love high-end jewellery”, before expressing her desire to expand her family further.

Adele gushed: “I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music. But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas.”

“I wanna f***ing nail it.”

Adele has rarely given fans a glimpse into her life with Rich on social media, however she was flooded with messages from wellwishers after sharing a snap outside of their new home in May 2022.

Posting on Instagram, she penned the caption: “Time flies 💋 ✨ ♥️”

The stream of photos also showed Rich supporting her backstage and all smiles as Adele went behind the counter at McDonald’s.
