Caesars Palace recently announced its ‘Emperor Package’ for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix taking place next year.

Many Adele fans have been left disappointed as it was revealed that there are 12 F1 tickets included, whilst only two tickets for the Hello singer’s residency.

This surprised many as the standard tickets to the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix already costs £2,000 per person.

In addition, the extravagant package also includes a five night stay in a terrace suite overlooking the racetrack, around-the-clock butler service, use of a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce, and a private meal with Michelin-starred chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

As news of the expensive package details spread, a multitude of Adele fans took to social media to blast the extortionate ticket prices and that there are only a mere two Adele tickets available.

One angry Formula 1 fan raged on Twitter : “Absolutely sickening that F1 is even allowing this! Why would I even consider a race in the US, when I can easily and am going to Europe to see a race for a fraction of the cost and that includes airfare and hotel.”

Many fans noted that the deal included tickets for 12 to all of the perks, except for Adele’s residency concert.

Another fan ranted: “This is so ridiculous! Is this what a formula 1 Emperor Package has come to? I am fuming why only 2 tickets to Adele’s Residency at Caesar’s Palace? We need 12! Fix this!”

A third mocked the deal, tweeting: “The two Adele residency [tickets] really seals the deal if they were on the fence of why you would spend 5 million.”

Another chimed in: “So for $5m you get to take 11 guests to the F1, and then say to 10 guests, sorry no Adele for you.”

As many continued to blast the overall extortionate cost of the package, the F1 Chief Executive, was quick to defend the price-point.

Formula 1 chief executive, Stefano Domenicali, said: “In terms of price positioning we are going to be on the top side because this is Las Vegas and that is the nature of the customer coming to Las Vegas.”
