New Year’s Eve is so often described as ‘overrated’ at this stage that it almost must now be in danger of being ‘underrated’.

Whatever sort of rating it’s got, one thing is for sure is that there’s loads of parties happening around London for you to bop away to your heart’s content.

As you’d expect a lot are already sold out or have very limited availability.

But here are some New Year’s events that you can still book:

Percolate at E1

Unit 2, 110 Pennington St, London E1W 2BB - £27.50

Don’t be fooled by the name, this event space is not in Shoreditch but a bit down the road to Shadwell Overground station.

There are still some first release tickets priced at £27.50 and with Floating Points on the bill to play at midnight, you know that this is going to kick off.

Pleasurehood at XOYO

32-37 Cowper St, London EC2A 4AP - £16.90

As part of XOYO’s weekly Saturday club night, Pleasurehood is on for New Year’s Eve and offers an affordable option for those seeking out the bop.

At £16.90 for those willing to arrive at the club before 10.30pm, this has got to be one of the best value nights still selling tickets.

Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club at O2 Kentish Town Forum

9-17 Highgate Rd, London NW5 1JY - £23

Fans of the actor cum DJ on BBC Radio 6 Music will know what to expect, lots of gritty funk and soul tunes to get you dancing until the wee hours.

With Alabama 3 also doing a full live show, it’s best to get down early with tickets before 11pm costing £23.

Paraiso Disco at Night Tales (£23)

With a 4,000 square foot roof terrace to go with a large indoor event space, this popular east London venue should please all your mates on New Year’s Eve.

Expect lots of shimmering House music and Disco, with entry before 9pm cositing £23 if you book in advance.

The Cause NYE: Unknown Pleasure at 60 Dock Road

60 Dock Road, London, E16 1YZ - £22.40

Tickets for this event are selling fast but you can still pick up early bird entry before 8pm tickets for £22.40.

This event is run by the founders for The Cause in Tottenham, which ran nights successfully for three years before they had to shut due to a residential development in 2021.

The South London Soul Train NYE at Peckham Levels

Most of the tickets for this event have also sold out, but you can still get entry before 10.30pm passes for £23.

With three rooms of music and a live set from The Allergies, you’re sure to ring in 2023 in the best way possible at this south London institution.
