London weather forecast: Is it going to rain in London today?
What’s the weather going to be like in London today? Unfortunately it’s going to be wet, wet, wet.
Sadly, the short answer is yes, it is going to rain in London today (Tuesday, May 27th). Not the ideal start to half term!

However, there is a silver lining - because the rest of the week is looking lovely, according to the Met Office.
While the majority of today is set to be pretty soggy, the sun will return to the capital tomorrow (Wednesday). However, there may be a few showers at the start of the day.
Rain is expected to start to fall in London at around 11am today, and continue right the way through until 7pm.
Expect to hear announcements on the underground, about walking carefully due to slippery floors.
The Met Office has said the rain may be “heavy at times”, and it will also feel windy.
Here’s what the forecast says: “Bright spells at first, with any lingering rain and winds quickly easing. Cloud then increasing, with further rain spreading east from late morning, heavy at times. Turning windy again, especially along coasts. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
“Cloud and rain will move slowly clearing with most parts dry by midnight. However, further showers are likely at times with variable amounts of cloud and winds easing. Minimum temperature 11 °C.”
The rest of the week is looking warm and sunny with highs of 25°C on Friday and Saturday in the capital.
