So, who is Jamie Campbell Bower?

Stranger Things announced that the newest season would be split into volumes.

The first volume dropped on Friday 27 May, and the second volume is scheduled for release on Friday 1 July.

Who is Vecna?

Vecna is the big bad of season 4. In theme with the rest of the show, the characters rely on the popular game Dungeons and Dragons to help decipher what is going on, and put names to the horrifying villains they encounter.

In Dungeons and Dragons, Vecna is described as one of the greatest villains in Dungeons & Dragons.

The character originally from the World of Greyhawk campaign setting, Vecna was described as a powerful wizard who became a lich.

Bower revealed that he played the humanoid character for the whole show: “Yyeah, that’s me doing the voice under the prosthetics. It’s all me.”

“Ninety percent is practical. The only thing that is not practical are the vines moving on the neck. The voice was an interesting thing. It took me a minute to get that.”

What is the connection of the Creel house?

Throughout the promotion of the show the Creel house was tipped to play a huge part in the new series. Although, nobody really knew why.

The show cast Robert Englund of Freddie Kruge fame, as a previous owner Victor Creel whose family had been struck by the evil within the home.

In the final episode of volume one it was revealed that it was Victor’s son, Henry, a character that was always in the background, who was behind the tragic attacks on the Creel family.

It is later revealed that 001 at Hawkins Lab who seemed to help 011, was Henry Creel, who later becomes Vecna after his first standoff with 011.

This shocked many viewers given we had already had a description of Bowers character. He spoke on the mislead: “I have no idea where the name Peter Ballard came from.”

“I can only apologize to fans of the show for being part of such a massive red herring. I remember seeing it and being like, "Okay, guys. Cheers! That’s going to be a tough one if anybody asks me, but I’ll just go with the party line."

It’s unknown as of yet whether it was the home that was cursed and gave Henry his abilities, but fans are hopeful they will find out more.
