Sudbury stabbing: Man charged with murder after 21-year-old dies outside restaurant

A man has been charged with murder after a 21-year-old was stabbed to death in north London.

Theo Simon, 33, of Gladstone Avenue, Wood Green, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon and will appear at Willesden Magistrates Court today.

Police and paramedics were called at 1.50am on Sunday, October 30, to reports of a stabbing outside a restaurant in Harrow Road, Sudbury.

The victim, who has been identified as Givani Espuet, from north London, was found with stab wounds and died a short time later.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers, and a post-mortem examination will take place later today (Tuesday, November 1).
