Shea Gordon murder: Four teenagers arrested over Tower Hamlets teen stabbing

Detectives investigating the murder of a teenager in Tower Hamlets have made four further arrests.

Shea Gordon, 17, from Enfield was fatally stabbed, while another young man was wounded on September 4.

Four teenagers, all aged 17, were arrested on Thursday October 20 and are due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday October 21).

An 18-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder on September 5 was released with no further action.

Shea suffered fatal stab wounds during a disturbance in Lichfield Road, Bow, just after midnight on Sunday September 4 and later died in hospital.

Det Ch Insp Mark Rogers, from the Met’s specialist crime command, said: “Despite having made a number of arrests in this investigation, I continue to appeal for anyone with information about Shea’s murder to come forward.

“Shea’s family are being supported as they try to come to terms with their loss, but only information can really bring them the answers they so desperately need about what happened to him and why.

“If you know the answers to those questions please do the right thing and get in touch.”
