Oxford Street stabbing: Man charged with murder after fatal attack in Soho

A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing off Oxford Street, in central London.
Li Hunan, 60, of Woodfield Gardens, New Malden, will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday August 17) charged with murder.

Hide AdMet Police officers, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Poland Street at 11.40am on Monday morning (August 15) to reports of a stabbing.
Li Sung, 58, from Southwark was found with stab wounds.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at 12.20pm.
His next of kin have been informed.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue, led by detectives from specialist crime.
Poland Street is a side road off London’s iconic Oxford Street, which is one of Europe’s busiest shopping districts, and close to Soho’s thriving nightlife.
