Photographer shares gorgeous behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Bridget Jones' Diary

Bridget Jones is truly an icon.

The London-living ‘spinster’ has become a beloved character spanning across generations of rom-com lovers.

If you haven’t already seen the latest (and final) movie, Mad About The Boy, we suggest you hot-foot it down to your nearest cinema imminently.

But it’s the first film we’re interested in today, hailing all the way back to 2001.

A photographer has shared some seriously stunning behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Bridget Jones’ Diary.

The movie, which was filmed and set in London, quickly became a cult classic, paving the way for three more instalments of Bridget’s life.

Bridget Jones’s Diary follows the complicated love triangle between rivals Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant).

The raunchy and sweet film is filled with unforgettable quotes, and romantic moments, which have set my expectations far too high.

The pictures shared by Hollywood photographer Greg Williams, show Renee Zellweger and Hugh Grant preparing for their big scene in which Daniel discovers Bridget’s ‘enormous knickers’.

The young starlets look incredible in the moody black-and-white photos which offer a behind-the-scenes look at one of the early 00s biggest films.

Unsurprisingly the photos have garnered a lot of attention receiving nearly 75,000 likes on the photo-sharing app.

Greg Williams has an impressive portfolio of celebrity portraits including the likes of Anna Kendrick, Tom Cruise and Cynthia Erivo.
