The hospitality industry has taken somewhat of a battering in recent years, as just as we came out of the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns we were hit by the cost-of-living crisis.

JD Wetherspoon has put a number of its landmark pubs, including several in London, on the market.

However, take a walk around any London suburb on a Friday night and you will see the thirst for going out remains strong among residents of the capital.

And some pubs have returned in the last year after periods of closure, such as The Sir Richard Steele and The Winchester in north London.

Below are 10 London pubs whose freehold’s are listed for sale on Rightmove, from a late night LGBT institution to a cute railways boozer down south:
