A muddy landscape has been left in the wake of Winter Wonderland at London’s iconic Hyde Park.

After Winter Wonderland packed up at the start of the month, Hyde Park has been left looking rather soiled.

The famous holiday attraction which has been at the capital greenspace since 2007 returned to the spot for the 2024 festive season in November.

Officially opening up to the public on November 21 it was open across December into the new year.

However, it did briefly have to close following weather warnings thanks to Storm Darragh.

The attraction finally packed up after January 5 and a video showing the state of Hyde Park has since caused a buzz on social media after the spot is seen to be in quite a muddy condition.

In a clip shared by the Daily Mail on TikTok, the royal park is seen to be a muddy landscape with puddles throughout.

The post had commenters divided as some were worried about its future while others reassured the once grassy lawn would soon grow back.

One user wrote: “Does this hurt the grass” while another added: “Grass always returns. Give it a few months and it'll be fine.”

The spot is set to welcome back crowds over the summer as the annual British Summer Time Festival returns for another year.

Another staple event of Hyde Park, the 2025 edition of the festival will host performances from big names including Hugh Jackman, Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahn and Sabrina Carpenter.
