St George’s Day Celebrations

Hide AdFamily friendly celebrations to mark St George’s Day will return to Trafalgar Square on Saturday.
The event boasts a wide range of live music, entertainment and food, that will be hosted by presenter Michelle Ackerly.
Live musical performances are expected from string quartet Bowjangles, the hoedown collective Cut A Shine and brass band Das Brass.
Other entertainment includes St George and his Dragon and family activities such as The Knights Training School and a dragon selfie station.

Hide AdThis is the first St George’s celebrations to take place on Trafalgar Square since 2019, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “I’m delighted that our St George’s Day festival is able to return to Trafalgar Square.
“The celebration of our historic past and modern diversity is a fantastic way for Londoners and visitors to enjoy our capital and honour everything that makes England the country it is today.”
The Cycle Show

Hide AdAfter 10 years at the NEC in Birmingham, the Cycle Show is back in London for 2022.
The UK’s biggest cycle show will run alongside the London eBike festival, with the shows combining an indoor exhibition.
Test ride the latest mountain, gravel, road, commuter, leisure, children’s and electric bikes of all types around the hills of Alexandra Palace’s parkland.

Classic Car Boot Sale

The Classic Car Boot Sale will also be offering a ‘Repair Shop’ area where you can tailor or fix up any of your much loved vintage items.
The 1970 Morris Minor custom ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Arts Club’ van will be making it’s UK debut alongside a range of vintage scooters, motorbikes and ride-ins.
