Outernet’s new nature filled Ultraviolet display will join the venue’s art schedule alongside the hit interactive Butterfly Trail.

A new colourful nature themed display has become the latest immersive experience to take over the Tottenham Court Road spot’s big screens.

Ultraviolet by LA based artist Maggie West captures details of the natural world up close through time lapse photography. Set across three rooms in the Outernet building each presents nature through a vibrant and colourful lens.

The first and main room explores one night on earth across different climates from the desert to more greener environments. Moving onto the second room, West shows the beauty in some of nature's smallest creations, grains of sand, through a kaleidoscope display.

Finally, around the corner, the third room highlights the life of nature as it demonstrates how plants absorb water through the use of ultraviolet light and fluorescent ink.

The new display will be added to Outernet’s art schedule from today (August 8 )with full timings available via the venue’s app which is available on the App Store and Google Play

The free experience will run alongside the Butterfly Trail which has proved a huge hit at The Now Building, next to Tottenham Court Road Tube station.
