The Hampton Court Palace Tulip Festival is an annual spring event that transforms the historic royal gardens into a vibrant sea of colour.

Lucky Londoners will be treated to a visual feast at the Hampton Court Palace Tulip Festival.

More than 100,000 tulip bulbs have burst into life for the annual festival.

This weekend marks the final chance for Londoners to witness this glorious spectacle for another year.

Closing on 5th May, the Tulip Festival transports visitors through a floral display unlike any other.

Visitors can explore 60 acres of breathtaking royal gardens and experience Henry VIII’s famous grounds brimming with our award-winning tulips.

It is one of the UK's largest tulip displays. The festival showcases a diverse array of tulip varieties, including rare and historic species dating back over 500 years. ​

In 2025, the festival runs from 11 April to 5 May, with daily opening hours from 10am until 5:30pm.

Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful escape or catching up with friends, there’s no better way to welcome the warmer days ahead.

Take your time exploring the courtyards and admire blooming displays pouring out of our Tudor wine fountain and vintage horse carts.
