London weather: Dig out your BBQs! It's going to be 26 °C in London next week


Buckle up, London - it’s going to be hot, hot, hot next week.
There’s no need to board a flight to Spain or beyond because it’s going to be a scorcher in the capital.

Hide AdAccording to the Met Office forecast, London will hit highs of 26C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Temperatures will start picking up from Sunday (27th April), just in time for the London Marathon.
Not only will it be hot, but the sun will also be shining over the capital.
The Met Office says: “Dry and sunny conditions will persist through this period (Sunday to Tuesday) accompanied by light winds. Temperatures are expected to rise steadily each day, becoming widely very warm across the region. Mild nights.”
Here’s how hot it’s going to get and when:
Sunday (27th April) - Sunny, highs of 22C, lows of 11C.
Monday (28th April) - Sunny, highs of 23C, lows of 12C.
Tuesday (29th April) - Sunny, highs of 25C, lows of 14C.
Wednesday (30th April) - Sunny, highs of 26C, lows of 15C.
Thursday (1st May) - Sunny, highs of 16C, lows of 13C.
