Thousands of people are set to flock to London this weekend to celebrate the King’s official birthday.

Trooping the Colour celebrations, including a parade and an RAF flypast, will take place in central London on Saturday (14th June).

The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning, which will linger into Saturday morning until 6am.

But luckily, just as Trooping the Colour takes over the city on Saturday, the sun is forecast to return.

Clouds are set to line the skies this Saturday, although the sun is expected to peak out for intervals across the day. By the late afternoon, the clouds are forecasted to disperse, leaving the sun to shine down on the city until it sets just after 9pm.
