London weather: The exact time thunderstorms could hit London tonight


Things are heating up here in London, as temperatures race towards 30C.
Today is shaping up to be a scorcher in the city with highs of 29C, in the capital, and across the south east.

Hide AdThunderstorms and torrential rain are set to bring some relief from the humidity tonight (13th June).
The Met Office has issued a yellow storm warning for London, which comes into force today at 3pm.
It will last until 6am tomorrow, just in time for a weekend of events and celebrations in the city.
Tomorrow, will see thousands of tourists flock to the capital for Trooping the Colour, Lido Festival, and Hampton Court Palace Festival.

According to the most recent BBC Weather forecast, rain is set to fall between 8pm and 2am in London.
While the Met Office forecast shows storms will break out in London at around 10pm, bringing lightning strikes and thunder.
The forecast is showing thunderstorms in the capital between 10pm and midnight, with rain continuing into the early hours.

Hide AdLondon is set to hit 29C this afternoon, with the city at its hottest between 4-6pm.
The Met Office says: “Thunderstorms may bring some disruption during Friday evening, and overnight into Saturday.”
