‘So Long London’: Taylor Swift bids farewell to the capital as her epic Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium ends

The 34-year-old megastar sent fans wild by bringing out surprise guests Florence Welch and Jack Antonoff, she also debuted “So Long London” and premiered a new music video.
Swift made Wembley Stadium history becoming the first solo artist to perform at the venue eight times in a single tour. The record was previously held by Michael Jackson for his 1988 Bad Tour.

Hide Ad"You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour," she told fans. "We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it."
Nearly 640,000 people are believed to have attended the Eras Tour at Wembley stadium, with a recent report saying the tour is expected to have boosted London’s economy by £300m.


The Eras Tour takes fans through 18 years of music, featuring at least 45 songs over three hours.

Hide AdFor her final London night, Swift has many surprises up her sleeve including debuting a new new music video to “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” from the latest album. It features backstage footage of the singer during the tour.
She also brought out Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine to duet on the song “Florida!!!”.
Meanwhile Swift’s friend and long-term collaborator, music producer Jack Antonoff, also appeared on stage to perform “Death By A Thousand Cuts” from her 2019 album titled Lover for the first time.
The pair both played acoustic guitar for the number, which was a mash-up with “Getaway Car” from the 2017 album Reputation.

Hide AdSwift then continued the acoustic set at her piano, with her live debut of “So Long, London”, from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.
The billionaire singer treated London fans to many surprises over her eight dates, with guest appearances from Gracie Abrams and her boyfriend Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce in June.
On the first night of her August run, Ed Sheeran surprised fans with a guest appearance.
The pair performed an acoustic blend of “Everything Has Changed” and “End Game”, which the pair collaborated on.

Hide AdThey ended their duet with an iconic performance of “Thinking Out Loud”.
Swift has nine dates left on her Eras Tour, which will take place in Canada from November 14, with her final show on December 8.
The final London show also marked the last opening performance for US rock band Paramore, with singer Gracie Abrams taking over for the last nine opening slots of the tour.
